This Privacy Notice applies to Robbins DiMonte, Ltd. United States business operations (“RD” “we” “our”) and is being provided to all visitors and users of the RD website. This notice describes how we collect, use, share, and protect nonpublic personal information (“NPI”).

We collect NPI about our client to provide them with legal services in a wide range of legal matters (collectively, “Legal Services”). The types of NPI we collect for Legal Services will vary depending on the nature of legal matters we are handling for our clients, but generally will include names, physical and electronic addresses, telephone numbers, Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical and other health information, dates of birth, occupation, and income. We may receive NPI from client intake forms, questionnaires, and in other interactions with our clients in rendering Legal Services.
SHARING INFORMAITON
We share certain types of NPI that we collect primarily with individuals and other companies who perform professional services for us, such as information technology and communications service providers and consultants, your designated professional service providers, such financial advisors, accountants, bankers, and others approved by you to assist us in providing the Legal Services. We may also share NPI when otherwise required or permitted by law and consistent with the Illinois Rules of Professional Responsibility (“Attorney Ethics Requirements”). When legally necessary, we ask your permission before sharing NPI about you. Our practices apply to our former, current and future clients who retain us to perform Legal Services.
When other companies help us conduct RD business operations, we expect them to follow applicable privacy laws. We do not authorize them to use or share NPI except when necessary to conduct the work they are performing for us or to meet regulatory or other governmental requirements.
SAFEGUARDING INFORMATION
In addition to the Attorney Ethics Requirements regarding client confidentiality, we have physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that protect the confidentiality and security of NPI. Our offices and technology environments only allow credentialed users access to NPI and limit employee access to NPI who need to know such information to provide Legal Services to you.
We do not use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption in this website, so we do not recommend transmitting any information you consider sensitive through online fill-in forms that may be available on this website.
MARKETING
We offer clients the opportunity to subscribe (and unsubscribe, at their option) to the RD newsletter service where we advise such clients about events and discuss legal topics of general interest. Within our technological environment, we use Google Analytics® to gather website users and visitors’ technical data, such as internet protocol (IP) addresses and other related data regarding our website and Constant Contact® to distribute our quarterly newsletter and other special client alerts.
RD automatically collects certain information about users who access this website. To do this, we use “cookies,” which are small data files stored on a user’s computer hard drive to enhance your on-line experience when visiting the RD Site, and other tracking technologies. RD is present on certain social media sites, such as Linkedin® and Twitter®, which presence along with this website, are used to make the general public aware of our Legal Services and provide general legal information. We are not responsible for operations of these social media platforms or the user-generated content that may be posted onto such sites.

The NPI we collect from you to provide our Legal Services may be accessed by you to exercise the data protection rights you may have over your NPI as are afforded by applicable law and the state of your residency.
