Robbins DiMonte Hosts First Community Blood Drive in Partnership with Versiti
On December 2, Robbins DiMonte hosted its first community blood drive in partnership with Versiti Inc., welcoming clients, friends, and members of the community to our Park Ridge office with one shared purpose: to help save lives.
Versiti operates blood centers in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, and manages an internationally known and respected research facility in Wisconsin. Through this work, Versiti supports patients across the region by helping ensure access to lifesaving blood donations and through it’s research focused on advancing the discovery, diagnosis, and treatment of blood-related conditions.
Partner Jeffrey S. McDonald, who has served on Versiti’s Board of Directors for more than 15 years, helped spark this initiative. At each board meeting he hears a “mission moment,” a story of how a life was impacted because someone chose to donate. These stories are what compelled him to begin donating regularly in 2015, and this year, as he reached his 50th blood donation milestone, he worked with RD and Versiti to help make a collective impact through our community blood drive.
We proudly reached our goal of 40 donors, with each donation helping to save up to three lives. Robbins DiMonte extends our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in helping make this meaningful event possible. We look forward to more opportunities to give back to our community.
