Thomas A. Jefson was recently elected as RD’s Chief Executive Officer and member of the Firm’s Executive Committee.

Tom has extensive experience handling all aspects of complex trust and estate matters including estate planning, asset protection, probate and trust administration services, disputed trusts and estates, claims against decedents as well as designing strategies to minimize estate taxes.  As a trusted legal advisor for over 20 years, Tom regularly represents families, business owners and executives, investors, and individuals in sophisticated matters to preserve wealth and protect assets that help achieve their objectives for years to come.  He also counsels business leaders within diverse industries in the areas of tax planning, charitable endeavors, and other business transactional matters. When necessary, Tom’s substantial experience allows him to assist clients in resolving high stakes conflicts through the litigation of contested trusts and estates by deploying thoughtful and innovative strategies designed to produce positive and cost-efficient outcomes for clients.
