Robert McKenna Winter is an accomplished attorney with more than 40 years of legal experience. He concentrates his practice in litigation and dispute resolution strategies across several substantive areas of law including business transactions, employment related matters, and personal injury. Bob is an immediate past member of the RD Executive Committee and the former Chair of the RD Litigation Practice Group, having served in each capacity for nearly 20 years. Bob currently serves on four RD administrative committees.
Throughout his career, Bob has represented a diverse array of corporate, entrepreneurial, and public and private entities in complex disputes involving most areas of the law including breach of contract, restrictive covenants, employment matters, business dissolution, real estate disputes, civil rights claims and local government issues. Bob also represents individuals and families whose loved ones have been the victim of negligence. He has decisively won jury and bench trials in a wide range of matters, bringing a unique set of skills and experiences to bear on behalf of his clients.
A seasoned litigator with proven trial capabilities, Bob has successfully tackled cases in state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative tribunals, arbitrations and mediations. He combines deep understanding of litigation and negotiation principles with innate persistence to aggressively advocate for his clients so that they can focus their energies on their work and personal lives.
Bob frequently acts as general counsel to private and not-for-profit companies, serving as a resource for decision makers who rely on his broad legal experience to provide practical insights on evolving day-to-day business issues.
